If production will be stopped for more than 3 days, do not leave molds on the tablet press machine. Remove them for separate maintenance and storage.
Simple 4‑step maintenance process
- Dismantle and thoroughly clean punches and dies to remove powder residues.
- Dry all mold components completely, no moisture left.
- Coat with white mineral oil and anti‑rust agent evenly.
- Store neatly in a dry, clean environment.
Leaving tooling mounted on the idle press will lead to rust, tablet defects and extra replacement costs. This simple routine helps you extend mold service life and keep stable tablet‑making performance.
